We have launched a brand new beta feature, we call it „Tips“. It’s a completely new rating style. So now along with stars, smileys or thumbs your agents can get also a tip from you customers. These tips will be collected via PayPal from your customers. When the tips reach a certain value (50 dollars or euro) they will be send to your company account along with the report. To cover the PayPal expenses, we will charge 15% from the collected tips.
To set up the tips option, go to Settings and then Rating pages in the left bar. Now, choose between editing your current rating pages or creating a new one with the tips.
All you need to do here is chceck the box at the right of the text “Tips” and then select the currency.
Your rating page will now look like this:
When the customer opens the rating page there he has two ways how to rate. First, is to rate with the stars/smileys/thumbs and the second is to tip the agent. When your customers decide not to give a tip, the option with stars/smileys/thumbs is still available so that they can rate the response in the same way as before.
When your customers decide to give a tip, the option to rate with the stars/smileys/thumbs will disappear. Your customers will be redirected to PayPal to complete the tip payment right after they hit the “send rating” button. The tip will be visible in the Ratings section of your Nicereply account as you are used to with all ratings, but instead of points there will be the amount given by the customer. If your customer for some reason doesn’t complete the payment through PayPal the amount in the Ratings section will be grey. If the payment was completed, the amount will be shown green. Note that all the ratings with a tip (independent from the tip amount) are considered as the best ratings with 10 points for statiscical purposes.
Tips are still a beta feature so feel free to contact us with any of your suggestions via mail or leave a comment bellow.
